Happy end of the weekend everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed your S days, and are ready for the week ahead. I spent some time at my mom’s, and prepared our Dune Buggy for a major trip we’re taking next weekend!! I also got a couple of craft projects done, which always feels good. I bet you got some done this week too! I can’t wait to see!!

Creepy Crawly Topiary by Noreen at Craft Journal
I can’t deny that fall is creeping up on us. It is already the middle of September!! So of course, the next major holiday is Halloween. This upscale creepy decoration is pretty darn cool. Noreen uses nothing but house hold objects and some spiders to make an eye catching unique Halloween decoration. Imagine it in different colors of blue gray, black, dark orange and yellow as an over all Halloween theme!
And my Personal Favorite:
DIY Hot Air Baloons – by Jen at The Consigner Designer
The whimsy of this project really caught my eye. Firstly, hot air balloons are awesome. (My mother’s town is holding a festival, and hot air baloons are rising into the sky as we speak!) They are a throwback to an older, more gilded era of flight. Add in Jen’s amazing sense of french whimsy and this is a hit in my book! She used the SIMPLEST materials too! I’m already wracking my brain trying to think of a way I might possibly use these…
